A city / county wide burn ban has been issued by Henderson County Judge Executive Sandy Watkins until further notice.

WHEREAS, County judge/Executive, Sandy Lee Watkins, has proclaimed that an extraordinary fire hazard exists in Henderson County and is issuing this proclamation prohibiting open burning in Henderson County, Kentucky until a significant rainfall occurs or until such time that the extraordinary fire hazard no longer exists.
